Manufactured from low carbon steel, the pin portion of the linchpin has a Rockwell hardness Ra 50-60 with a 60kg load. The ring portion of the linchpin is hot drawn spring steel. Zinc plated for corrosion resistance. Part #LP716HD has a heavy duty ring.
