Shelby Winches are engineered for strength and durability. Every winch meets or exceeds SAE standard J1853. Bushings are oil impregnated for smooth operation and long life. Frames are embossed for added strength. Gears, pawls, and ratchets are heat treated. All winch reels have bolt holes for use with winch straps. Metal parts are zinc plated with "supersealer" to give a long-lasting finish that is resistant to corrosion. The finishing touch is a dimpled handle that provides a comfortable grip for the user.

Unique Features Include:

  • cold-forged steel pinion gear (400 lb to 1400 lb winch)
  • stacked steel pinion gear (1,700 lb to 2,100 lb winch)
  • one-way ratchet free spools in "off" position
  • two-way ratchet free spools in center position
