Shelby Winches are engineered for strength and durability. Every winch meets or exceeds SAE standard J1853. Bushings are oil impregnated for smooth operation and long life. Frames are embossed for added strength. Gears, pawls, and ratchets are heat treated.

All winch reels have bolt holes for use with winch straps. Metal parts are zinc plated with "supersealer" to give a long-lasting finish that is resistant to corrosion. The finishing touch is a dimpled handle that provides a comfortable grip for the user.

Features include:

  • winch reel has cable keeper
  • stacked steel pinion gear for added strength
  • handle will not spin in free-spool "center" position
  • change gears without removing handle (press lock lever and then shift gears)
